Part of cultivating a growth mindset, is seeing how much we hate our failures, mistakes, and imperfections. These are key clues and symptoms of a fixed mindset.
Interpersonal conflicts always somehow include our buttons/triggers. The effect of a trigger is that our judgment and emotional response blend with the facts. This creates a distorted subjective perception of what is actually happening. Yet we have no reference that this is happening. Our perception seems like reality.
If I act from scarcity, I create scarcity.
Practice makes perfect. When I practice stress and anxiety each day, the future will not relieve stress and anxiety. What difference do external conditions make in the face of such disciplined habit? I can't feed stress and anxiety super-sized meals and hope they become fit.
